Having worked exclusively in the financial services and consulting industry for close to 30 years, Lance is an established leader and brings strategic insight, deep operational knowledge of driving organic and inorganic business growth, and leading diverse cross-cultural teams.
Lanced joined Capco in 2015, and under his leadership, Capco has established a recognized market positioning, doubled revenues, and expanded the firm’s global footprint to over 30 offices globally. Always passionate about people, Lance firmly believes in prioritising and promoting Capco’s values to preserve the firm’s highly distinctive, differentiating, and diverse culture.
Most recently, Lance’s ambitious growth plans for Capco saw him partner with Wipro to formalize a $1.45B strategic acquisition of Capco by Wipro, creating a market-leading partnership that will enable both firms to provide greater end-to-end value to clients, and become a leading transformation partner to the world’s pre-eminent financial services institutions. As part of this acquisition, Lance joined Wipro’s Leadership Team, reporting directly to Thierry Delaporte, Wipro’s CEO.
Prior to joining Capco, Lance served on the Executive Team of Fidelity National Information Services as Head of Professional Services. Prior to that, he spent more than 15 years at Accenture, where he was a member of the Financial Services Leadership Team and the Accenture Leadership Council. At Accenture Lance held various leadership positions including Senior Managing Director of Financial Services in Europe, Africa, and Latin America, leading a business across 34 countries with $3.5B in revenues.
Lance holds a BSc in Economics, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cape Town. Lance currently lives in Europe.
