Local Impactful Activities

Big Brothers Big Sisters Resume Workshop

14 Capco volunteers hosted eleven Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) youth for lunch and a resume workshop in the NYC office to help create resumes as they apply for their first jobs. None of the Littles had a resume prepared going into the event, and afterwards they were all 75%-90% through their first draft. After working through resumes, the BBBS group joined the Capco team for a tour of the office, taking-in the astounding views from the Empire State building. Based on the positive feedback from both BBBS and Capco resources, we are looking forward to hosting BBBS for more resume workshops in NYC and Charlotte in the year ahead.

Operation Windy City

To celebrate International Women’s Day, the Chicago CSR group partnered with Women at Capco and Operation Windy City. During the event, we assembled and donated female hygiene kits for women experiencing domestic abuse. Through our collective efforts, we were able to make a meaningful impact by contributing to two shelters, benefiting a total of 75 women.
