LONDON & MILAN, June 15, 2023 – Capco, a Wipro company, the global technology and management consultancy, has announced the launch of The Capital Markets Company Italy S.r.l. (“Capco Italy”) as part of a focused regional expansion strategy to support its strong growth trajectory.
Incorporated in Milan, Capco Italy will support Italian banks, insurance companies and all other financial services organizations as they transform their businesses to compete in a rapidly changing financial landscape. This new business will draw directly on Capco’s 25-year heritage of partnering with the world’s largest financial services firms. That growth strategy has seen the London-headquartered company expand significantly to over 7,000 employees across 37 locations worldwide and follows the recent opening of an office in Dubai.
Capco will bring its deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing financial services firms, unique value propositions, and its delivery track record to Italian clients.
The new business will be led by Paolo La Torre, Capco’s new Italy Managing Partner. Paolo has over 20 years of experience working in management consultancy and digital engagement and technology solution firms. He has extensive expertise partnering with Italian financial services companies on product and business development, including in digital strategy, technology, data and analytics, cards and payments and customer relationship management (CRM). Paolo will report to Owen Jelf, Managing Partner for Central Europe.
