"Giving up has never been my style."

Tiffany Desjarlais, Senior Consultant, Capco US

Since joining Capco in 2018, Tiffany has been intentional about her career—owning her growth, seeking new challenges, and supporting others along the way. Now a Senior Consultant, she leads with authenticity and empathy, helping create a culture where women are empowered to thrive.

As a Women@Capco Lead for Florida, Tiffany champions initiatives that celebrate women’s achievements and amplify diverse voices. She has also coached colleagues through career transitions and leadership development, encouraging them to build confidence in their expertise and stay true to their values.

This year, Tiffany has embraced a new chapter—learning to balance motherhood and career growth. The experience has deepened her appreciation for flexibility, empathy, and, as she says with a laugh, “sleep.” Through it all, she remains focused on resilience, growth, and helping others succeed alongside her.

Inspired by In the Company of Women by Grace Bonney, this campaign highlights stories like Tiffany’s that embody the empathy, confidence, and authenticity of female leadership at Capco.

Her path, her words

1. How do you celebrate your achievements?

For me, celebration isn’t just about the big wins—it’s about embracing the journey. Every achievement comes with its own mix of emotions: joy, relief, exhaustion, and sometimes even a bit of sadness. I honor all of it because growth isn’t just about success—it’s about resilience. That said, when I hit a major milestone, you’ll probably find me indulging in an incredible meal with an even better dessert. Life is too short not to treat yourself!

2. What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

Oh, this one’s easy—“Loud” would definitely be the first, no question! (Haha!) But on a deeper level, I’m often described as strong, relentless, and unstoppable. People who know my story are usually taken aback by the battles I’ve fought and the hurdles I’ve overcome. Giving up? That’s never been my style.

3. Which of your traits are you most proud of?

Relentlessness. It’s been my superpower in every aspect of my life. Whether it’s advocating for my health, pushing forward in my career, or holding onto hope when everything felt impossible, I refuse to back down. I ask the tough questions, I fight for what I deserve, and I don’t let roadblocks define me. That drive—that unwavering determination—is something I carry with pride every single day.

4. What’s your favorite thing to come home to after a long day?

Without a doubt—my husband and my two stepchildren. They are my heart, my motivation, my "why." Sure, they might drive me a little crazy sometimes (as families do!), but they are my greatest source of love and purpose. No matter how hard the day has been, walking through that door and seeing them makes everything worth it.

5. Is there anything from your childhood that shaped your career or outlook?

Absolutely. My parents were both incredibly hardworking—devout Christians and entrepreneurs who taught me lessons that still guide me today. My late mother instilled in me the power of integrity, the importance of family, and the mindset that “no” is never the final answer. My father, a dedicated blue-collar worker with an unwavering work ethic, showed me that life isn’t always fair, but perseverance is everything. Their influence made me who I am today: someone who embraces challenges, refuses to quit, and always strives for more—no matter what life throws my way.
