HONG KONG, October 29, 2021 – Capco, the global technology and management consultancy, has announced three new senior appointments within its Asia-Pacific business as it advances its strategic growth plans in the region. The new executives are:

John McBain, Partner – Based in Hong Kong, John has over 30 years’ experience in banking, capital markets and consulting in senior roles spanning areas that include strategy, operations, M&A, and transformation programs. John joins Capco after 10 years at Deloitte leading consulting and key client relationship across APAC, and is passionate about the changing role of advisory in financial services firms.

Thomas Schaumburg, Partner & South East Asia Digital and Technology Lead – Based in Singapore, Thomas has over 30 years’ international experience in consulting and technology, advising senior executives on digital transformation, large technology programs, and data management initiatives. Prior to Capco, Thomas led KPMG’s IT Strategy Practice in France.  

Dr Shelley Zhou, APAC ESG Lead – Based in Hong Kong, Shelley has over 15 years’ experience as a carbon, climate and ESG professional focusing on corporate sustainability, environmental and carbon management consultancy, new energy and biotechnology. Shelley will also be continuing in her role as an Adjunct Associate Professor at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
