Each Pride Month, we celebrate the accomplishments, contributions, and impact of the LGBTQ+ community. From the first Pride March in 1970 to today, Pride Month is a time where LGBTQ+ communities around the world celebrate their culture, their resilience, and the freedom to be themselves. It’s also an open invitation for allies to join the celebration, and to acknowledge our collective responsibility to do more to create an equitable future for all.
This year’s theme, Pride Together, gives us all an opportunity to listen and learn, to show support for the LGBTQ+ community. At Capco, our #BeYourselfAtWork culture enables us to feel safe to bring our whole, authentic selves to work.
Since its inception in 1978, the Pride flag has been a representation of hope, diversity, and unity. There have been several versions, each with their own meaning. This change matters, and it is important that we welcome the progress being made, which is why this year we are evolving our Pride logo to the Progress Pride Flag.
