We are pleased to announce that Rachel Thames, Senior Office Manager at Capco Houston, has been named as the Gold Stevie Award winner in the Support Staffer of the Year category at the annual American Business Awards.
Rachel Thames was employee number 6 when EnFORM Technology was founded in Houston, 20 years ago. She has supported our growth from EnFORM Technology with 6 employees in one office through mergers, acquisitions and buy-outs to Capco Energy Solutions, with a team of over 150 across three offices. Capco Energy Solutions is part of global management and technology consultancy Capco, which has over 4500 employees across 27 offices.
Rachel has managed the safety and security of our employees through catastrophic events such as Tropical Storm Allison (2001), Hurricane Rita (2005), Hurricane Ike (2008), the Houston Memorial Day flood (2016) and Hurricane Harvey (2017). Through it all, she has kept the offices running like a well-oiled machine, while also caring for the emotional well-being of our employees. Having just celebrated her 20th anniversary working with us, Rachel is still going strong!
Here are excerpts from some of the judges’ comments about Rachel’s nomination:
“I’m blown away by your persistence through so many difficult times, making others feel special and loved!”
“An exemplary employee who makes a tremendous impact both inside and outside the business”
“Rachel adds the personal touch to the company connecting with the many employees and at the same time is efficient in responding in times of emergency, a much-needed attribute for any company”
