Avijeet is an early adopter to disruptive technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and is one of the leading industry experts in Business Process Automation (BPA) business. In his 20+ years of experience, he has been involved, strategically to envision success and deliver large scale implementation of business and technology transformation projects using disruptive and emerging tech in several areas within Financial services across UK, Europe and USA. In his most recent industry assignment, he was sponsor and delivery owner for one of the largest and first enterprise scale implementation of BPM, artificial intelligence (AI) and RPA combined, which has defined standards and specifications for the emerging RPA industry. He has championed in delivering Robotic Operating Model (ROM), Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow automation systems. As an industry mentor, he is being consulted by new and upcoming disruptive players in Fintech. Avijeet provides consulting, leadership and advisory roles for leading Banks and Financial Institutions in several key RPA and AI engagements for Capco. His experience has been pivotal to enhance Capco’s RPA footprint in Retail, Investment banking, Wealth and Asset Management.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Avijeet started his career as a delivery consultant solving prevailing Data and System Integration problems using EAI, Middleware and SOA based platforms. He has then developed his passion towards harnessing and unleashing technology as an enabler to solve business and customer facing day to day problems. He has written several journals and books on changing shape of Digital Economy, emergence of Virtual workforce and coexisting with Artificial Intelligence. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Computer Science, a MBA in International Business and Project Management qualification from Stanford University.
