We are excited to share with you details of this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) events at Capco. IWD is an annual event that takes place globally on March 8th to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s IWD theme is #ChoosetoChallenge.

“A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge.”

This year’s theme is about taking responsibility to call out gender bias and support the advancement of women at Capco, and in our daily lives. As we #ChoosetoChallenge at Capco, we call on every colleague, regardless of their gender, to play their part to support gender equity and equality and celebrate women’s achievements.

And IWD is not just aimed at women – we believe men have an important role to play in the conversation and in advocating for and making change happen. It requires a partnership that addresses historical bias and ingrained mindsets, and we want to encourage and support the positive role men can play as allies towards creating gender equity in society.

Capco employees are committed to challenging gender bias and equality in and outside of the workplace.  We encourage you to watch this video that features Capco colleagues from around the world discussing how they plan to #ChoosetoChallenge.

Below you will find details of this year’s full line up of great IWD events.  For the first time, we are offering three spotlight events for the Americas, Europe and Asia.  In addition, some geos will also offer local events and activities. Please look out for invitations in your region.

Finally, we hope that you will join us with enthusiasm and passion to support this year’s IWD events, and embrace its theme as a positive force for change.
