CAPCO CELEBRATES WORLD ACCESSIBILITY AWARENESS DAY & MARKS VALUABLE 500 MILESTONE

On Thursday, 20th May, World Accessibility Awareness Day, Capco is continuing to strive for a genuinely diverse and inclusive working environment.

We are proud to celebrate that the global business collective, The Valuable 500, has reached its goal of 500 international organisations committing to put disability inclusion on their board agenda, making it the world’s biggest CEO collective for disability inclusion.

In signing the Valuable 500 Commitment in 2020, Capco UK Managing Partner Mike Ethelston made a public commitment to advancing disability inclusion. Since then, our firm has been identifying, developing and implementing strategies that address our most pressing inclusion needs. This includes the establishment of an Inclusive Ways of Working Group with representatives from our Ability and Neurodiversity networks, HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development teams. Together they have been reviewing the employee experience at key employee touchpoints and identifying ways that Capco can create a more inclusive environment for current and potential employees of all abilities.

We are also delighted to share that we have recently become members of the Business Disability Forum and PurpleSpace networks to further support our people, communities and Be Yourself at Work culture. These memberships will provide everyone at Capco with access to a wealth of resources and networks for both professional and personal development. They will also strengthen our credentials as an industry leader in championing diversity & inclusion and encourage others to follow suit.
