Bodo Schaefer is a Managing Director and head of Capco’s Central and Eastern European businesses. Based in Capco’s Frankfurt office, he manages key client accounts and relationships within the Banking domain. He currently heads the “Complex Technology Transformation” business line in Germany and technology delivery. In addition, he serves as delivery and quality assurance partner for a number of complex transformation programs around the globe.

Bodo has nearly 20 years’ experience in financial services consulting covering strategy, business advisory, and large-scale systems integration and technology transformation delivery. His professional services and industry expertise includes post-merger integration of processes and systems for global banks and exchanges.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

He has successfully led process and efficiency optimization engagements - as well as offshore outsourcing programs - for leading European and global financial institutions. He has initiated, implemented and managed a number of multi-year outsourcing initiatives across multiple international locations. His expertise covers the optimization of core and non-core processes in payment services as well as employee lifecycle processes. In addition, he gained comprehensive experience in change management focusing on the critical aspects of post-merger integrations and key account management.
