A global universal bank requested our support to select strategic CSP partnerships as part of their developing multi-cloud strategy. To achieve consensus, we:
- Agreed a robust and systematic assessment methodology that would result in broad buy-in
- Tuned our Vendor Assessment Scoring Matrix and methodology to their specific requirements
- Evaluated each CSP against multiple factors aligned to business strategy, technology strategy, risk appetite and security posture

Platform enhancement
An insurer came to Capco to carry out a discovery and maturity assessment of their platform, considering engineering capabilities, architectural design and technological decisions. Working closely with the client, we:
- Produced a series of priority recommendations and accelerators deemed priorities for advancing the client’s capabilities
- Increased observability and metrics available across the value stream
The client overhauled their operating model to enable self-service request fulfilment, reducing front-line support demand, and streamlined change management by automating manual steps that had previously delayed production.
Design, implement & integrate Azure cloud infrastructure
A large global fintech asked for our support to migrate their employee support application from an on-prem solution to a modern enterprise-grade cloud environment. Working closely with the client, we:
- Provisioned multiple test and production environments within Microsoft Azure
- Developed Terraform plans to automate the provisioning and configuration of MySQL and MongoDB databases, as well as Kubernetes clusters
- Created robust CI/CD deployment pipelines to support automated application deployments across various environments
- Authored detailed runbooks for each Azure environment to support post-deployment operations and empower the client’s teams in managing and troubleshooting potential issues
The client now has fully automated infrastructure provisioning across all environments, reducing manual overhead and increasing consistency. They have also enabled fully automated build and deployment of the application using modern pull-based deployment best practices, accelerating release cycles and improving deployment reliability.
End-to-end migration to AWS cloud
A major Canadian bank requested our support to migrate their Wealth Asset Management Analytics Platform to AWS cloud. The platform centralized data collection, normalization and access through an Oracle database and was hosted on-prem on enterprise-supported infrastructure. Together, we:
- Conducted a comprehensive gap analysis of the current infrastructure to define a target state cloud architecture and develop a detailed migration roadmap
- Architected a secure and compliant AWS-based solution tailored to the bank’s requirements
- Led the end-to-end design, implementation and migration of the platform and its datasets to AWS, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
By moving to AWS Cloud, the bank accelerated new feature deployment, lowered ongoing support costs and cut the time required to generate reports by 50%. Migrating to AWS RDS has significantly reduced the bank's support overhead by streamlining database server management and enhancing backup and recovery capabilities. Leveraging AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) has provided the bank with scalable infrastructure, allowing for broader adoption across teams and deeper integration with existing applications.
