Data and Technology Solutions
It is no longer enough to simply manage data. The Chief Data Office (CDO) must now prove its worth commercially, operationally and strategically.
When data becomes expensive, slow and hard to use, the CDO loses credibility and the business stops listening. Modern CDOs must accelerate outcomes, reduce friction and turn intelligence into measurable business impact – faster, more cheaply and at scale.
This shift will require the CDO to embrace smarter and safer ways to embed and accelerate data use, to integrate Generative and Agentic AI to unlock new efficiencies and value, and to demonstrate an ability to scale intelligence where it matters.
Our three-part series:
- explores the new CDO mandate
- outlines how the CDO’s role and capabilities must evolve to address that mandate
- presents a vision for how future CDOs will orchestrate human and autonomous systems to embed intelligence into the business.
The first part of our series can be found below with the later parts available in coming weeks.
