I grew up in a small town in the center of Poland. Studying both Computer Science and Economics led me toward a career in finance and financial technology. I've always enjoyed combining analytical thinking with practical problem solving, and that mindset has shaped both my education and my career.

I've long been fascinated by the intersection of finance and technology. Early on, I realized I wanted to build solutions that directly support financial markets. That naturally led me to capital markets and eventually to Murex, where I've spent most of my professional career.

Before joining Capco, I researched the company and quickly realized it was much more than a traditional consulting firm. Capco combines deep financial industry expertise with a strong engineering culture, which was exactly what I was looking for.

What ultimately convinced me to join was the opportunity to work on challenging international projects while continuing to develop my technical expertise. I also appreciated the openness of everyone I met during the recruitment process. Every conversation felt professional, transparent and focused on finding the right fit rather than simply filling a role.

Since joining Capco, I’ve found that first impression to be accurate. The collaborative culture, supportive colleagues and opportunities to continuously learn have made it a place where I can both contribute and continue growing professionally.

One of the biggest milestones has been becoming a trusted consultant responsible for both change-the-bank and run-the-bank activities. Supporting critical production systems requires not only technical expertise but also communication, prioritization and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Capco also encourages continuous learning. I've had opportunities to broaden my knowledge, work with experienced colleagues and take ownership of increasingly complex solutions. What I appreciate most is that people are always willing to share knowledge and support one another.

The collaborative environment makes it easy to exchange ideas regardless of seniority, creating an inclusive culture where everyone can contribute and grow.

The project I'm most proud of has been supporting a leading European commercial bank's Murex platform.

The challenge was maintaining a highly critical production environment while simultaneously delivering new business enhancements. It required balancing stability with continuous delivery and working closely with business users, infrastructure teams and other technical specialists.

One achievement I'm particularly proud of was delivering multiple enhancements across Front Office, Risk and MLC reporting while maintaining high platform stability. Many improvements required adapting existing Murex configurations, integrating reporting solutions and ensuring smooth production deployment without disrupting business operations.

The project also demonstrated the importance of teamwork. Whenever we faced difficult production issues, everyone contributed their expertise, and that collaborative approach allowed us to resolve problems quickly while delivering value to the client.

I believe maintaining balance is essential.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading fantasy books and following financial markets and new technologies. One hobby that has stayed with me since I was young is playing classic strategy and role-playing games like Heroes of Might and Magic III and Baldur's Gate or Diablo 2. I still come back to them because they reward patience, planning and creative problem-solving — qualities that I also find valuable in my professional work.

Above all, I draw my strength from my family and close friends. They help me maintain perspective and keep a healthy balance between work and personal life. Spending time with them allows me to recharge and come back to work with fresh energy and focus.
