My journey at Capco has been a fun twist on the norm—I began in sustainability advisory, which isn't the most typical starting point.

If you'd asked 10-year-old me what my dream job was, consulting definitely wouldn't have made the list. I grew up watching animal documentaries on the Discovery Channel, which sparked my love for nature and eventually led me to study a related field at university.

I began my career helping companies measure emissions and develop decarbonization strategies before joining Capco in Hong Kong in 2022.

Over time—albeit after a few years—I realized that what I truly enjoy is helping teams navigate uncertainty and evolving landscapes, regardless of the subject matter. That's exactly where I found my place at Capco.

The people and opportunities here have played a big part in my journey, enabling me to transition from sustainability into broader business consulting.

My two years in Hong Kong, followed by another two in Singapore, have been incredibly rewarding, shaping how I think critically and lead teams in complex, fast-moving environments.

What really sets the experience apart is the culture—a flat, open environment where you're empowered to challenge ideas, take ownership, and make an impact from day one.

I've had the opportunity to work across a diverse range of clients and projects, but one standout was an 18-month portfolio management engagement for a multinational bank. There, I led a workstream focused on resolving delivery conflicts across the bank's most critical programmes by chairing cross-programme governance forums and coordinating regulatory scenario analysis.

More recently, I've also had the opportunity to oversee planning for our Associate Talent Program across the region—something I genuinely enjoy, especially the coaching aspect. After all, consulting is fundamentally a people business.

Looking ahead, I'm excited for what's to come—continuing to step outside my comfort zone, embracing the unexpected, and hopefully collecting a few great stories along the way.
