“Capco has always rewarded the hard work put in by individual employees”

Joined Capco: 2010
Role: PMO Service Lead M4
Skills: Test manager, project manager, senior business analyst

I hail from Goa - the Miami of India! - from a family with a strong sports background: my father is a retired national judo coach, while my mother competed in judo at a national level. For my part, I’ve represented Goa at national level in badminton, played table-tennis at the state level and cricket at club-level as an all-rounder.

Capco has always been a company that places all its employees in client-facing roles, and that was my motivation when I joined the company 10 years ago. I had previously been struggling with stage fright, but I welcomed the opportunity to take on roles where interaction with clients and other stakeholders was central to our business model and working environment. I’m proud to say that I soon overcame the anxiety.

"Capco’s culture of self-motivation and self-education is the reason I’m still here after a decade with the firm."

I’ve worked in a variety of different roles, including Quality Analyst, Test Lead, Business Analyst, Project Manager and PMO Manager, and each role helped to keep me fresh and engaged in my work. Plus, Capco has always rewarded the hard work put in by individual employees, whether through workplace recognition or renumeration.

Throughout my career journey at Capco, these roles have required enterprise on my part, and required me to enhance my skillset when it comes to dealing with testing situations – for instance, dealing with a tough stakeholder or motivating the team to deliver on a project within rigorous timelines. This has served to strengthen me as a financial services professional.
