Markus Bender is a Partner based in Capco’s Frankfurt Office. He is responsible for Capco’s Complex Program and Transformation Management Offering for the region Germany and Austria. The setup, management and if required turn around management of key client initiatives become even more relevant in a complex environment, driven by legacy systems and regulatory changes. Combination of high-value consulting and deep domain expertise makes CAPCO a unique advisor in this space. In addition, he leads the Anti Financial Crime Offering, specializing on Anti-Money-Laundering, KYC and Sanctions topics.
INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
Markus has more than 15 years of industry experience in Capital Markets as well as Banking, focusing on large scale transformational projects, strategic turnaround management and post-merger integration projects. He has extensive experience in Financial Services across different regions including securities, treasury, post-trade services, payments and compliance. He held various program and project management positions in large transformational programs as well as IT projects in his career.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Before joining Capco, Markus worked for a global management consulting and technology services company and strategy consultancy in Germany.
