Lance McAnelly is the Managing Partner for the Capco Energy Solutions business. An established business leader with significant energy industry experience, Lance provides team leadership to deliver and promote client-focused, value-added solutions that result in organizational growth and improved efficiencies. With both national and international experience, he has successfully managed and delivered more than 200 person-years of service to his clients.
INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
Lance has over 23 years of experience in solving challenging problems across a broad spectrum of the full energy industry value chain. He has considerable expertise in deregulated markets, energy trading, natural gas pipelines, and compliance. Lance has successfully navigated complex business challenges to deliver a vast array of projects; these have included regulatory-driven market change impact assessments, business process improvement, packaged systems implementations, merger & acquisition support, full systems development life cycle implementations and change management efforts.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
After graduating from Texas A&M University, Lance began his career as a Management Consultant with Ernst & Young where he was introduced to the Energy sector and focused on deregulating energy markets in the U.S. and Europe. He worked on substantially large enterprise transformation efforts as the US and UK Natural Gas Pipelines deregulated and then began applying his experience in deregulating power markets in 1996. He later became a co-founder of EnForm Consulting (subsequently acquired by SunGard) in Houston and eventually spearheaded the establishment of the Dallas Office.
