In December 2020, Capco announced the acquisition of andrion AG, a Switzerland-based digital and technology delivery consultancy focused on the provision of transformational solutions and services to Swiss banks, financial technology firms and companies in the financial services sector. The transaction complements and extends Capco’s existing client offerings with digital and technology capabilities. Aniello Bove, former CEO & Managing Partner, Martin Zimmermann, Managing Partner, Roberto Zimmermann, Managing Partner, andrion’s leadership team and all staff have joined Capco. andrion’s offerings span digitalization, including CX/UX and technologies; automation, such as process and AI services; modernization, including web and cloud solutions; and industrialization, such as Open Banking and service harmonization.
The acquisition is a true milestone for both our companies’ growth strategies and we look forward to our joint journey. With the talents we have gained, as well as our complimentary offerings, we are confident that together we will bring the value of a global business to better serve our clients.
We are proud to announce that Capco Switzerland has been named a Best Consultant in Switzerland in March 2021 by the Swiss business magazines Finanz und Wirtschaft and Bilan, in cooperation with Statista, the leading provider of market and consumer data.
To select winners, the organizers conducted an online client survey of over 200 senior executives from major Swiss financial companies and an expert survey of over 4,000 partners and principals from management consultancies. After the initial evaluation of recommendations by clients and experts, a further 200 senior executives were recruited to analyze the results and make recommendations or add further nominees. The list of the best consulting firms is the result of all ratings involved - and Capco made it onto this select list of the best consultants in Switzerland.
Recognized as one of South East Asia’s leading banks and market leaders in Corporate and SME banking, this Global Bank has launched several transformation initiatives across operational risk, financial crime and front-to-back process optimization, with Capco chosen as a preferred consulting partner. These multi-year strategic initiatives include a CRM program and a fraud risk management program. An international team, from our Swiss and APAC offices, is working onsite to support these important initiatives launched to both remain competitive and stay ahead of the market.
The CRM program encompasses sales, marketing and other services across retail and corporate banking, covering digital, branch and contact centre channels. The key goal of the program is to improve customer satisfaction/retention and share-of-wallet through greater effectiveness of customer interactions. We are supporting this CRM program as a business consultant and as a system integration partner.
The fraud risk management program was launched to strengthen the existing prevention, detection, and response controls in line with market practices for debit card, credit card, online/mobile banking and acquiring fraud risks. We are engaged to provide business guidance (TOM, business requirements, fraud unit organization governance, policy etc.) and as a system integration partner.
Over the last couple of years, we have been supporting the wealth management division of a global bank with their plans to renovate the operating platform for their wealth business in international locations. With over 700 people involved globally, this is one of the largest projects running in the bank – we are glad to be one of the important consulting drivers of this major project.
The project centers on a single core banking system providing one standard target operating model globally for all bank locations. This includes replacing the existing core banking system and designing an efficient front office business model for an improved client relationship management, advisory and portfolio management in combination with a new trading architecture. The project went live in the first location in Q1 2021, which will be followed by further six locations, one per year.
Capco teams have accompanied the project journey right from the initial phases of strategy development, running an RfI/RfP process along with dozens of application vendors, which concluded with a target set of applications and operating models to be rolled out across half a dozen locations over the next six years. As part of this project, Capco supported the bank in obtaining the license for a new business and will continue being part of the subsequent phases.
We are proud to have delivered efficient and effective consulting services to become a trusted consulting service provider for this client, with many years of strong partnership ahead. With innovative mindsets, sincere partnership and exemplary collaborative work from the teams involved from various Capco offices in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, UK, US and of course, Switzerland, Capco continues to grow along with the client.
Audrey Miguel joined Capco as an Associate Partner in Geneva in November 2020. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with specific expertise in Finance.
Audrey began her career at Société Générale, where she worked in corporate and investment banking in Paris and New York. She then moved into management consulting by joining Equinox Consulting, a French consulting specialist, where she was a Partner in the Finance, Risk, and Compliance practice. In 2016, she joined Cognizant Consulting in Switzerland, where she headed the consulting practice dedicated to financial services. Audrey has solid knowledge of the regulatory constraints and challenges financial institutions are facing today. On joining us, Audrey commented:

The market context, accelerated by the COVID-19 crisis, has highlighted the importance of digitalization for the players in the Swiss financial centre. In addition to this, topics such as social and environmental responsibility will deeply mark and transform the financial sector. Together with my team, I will accompany our clients through these transformations, enabling them to remain leaders in their market".
Why did I join Capco? Because of consulting, financial services, thrilling challenges, entrepreneurship and a vibrant working culture where we can push boundaries, be ourselves and take different approaches to problem-solving.
In my first week at Capco Germany in 2016, I participated in one of Capco’s Murex Night Caps. This was a presentation of a Murex trading platform implementation at a major client in Frankfurt. A couple of weeks later, I was on my first project - strategy, implementation and pricing of new and current account models for around six million customers. Even though we spent long days at the client office, the work we did as a team was rewarding and impactful. It has been one of my most exciting projects so far. Since 2019, I have been at Capco Switzerland, contributing to one of the most exciting digital transformation projects in Swiss banking today.

I graduated from the University of St. Gallen, where the competitive environment and a demanding economics curriculum instilled in me an attitude of discipline, dedication, and determination. I always knew that I wanted to be successful in one of the top sectors in the financial services industry - consulting or investment banking (or at least that’s what they say where I come from).
However, during my first few professional experiences, I learned that, in fact, constant competition and pressure to perform were not exactly what I had been looking for. Though I love to be challenged and push myself to the limit, I enjoy doing so in a friendly and inspiring environment. Hence, my goal is to work for a company that offers a fast-paced and steep learning curve but at the same time a friendly, dynamic, empowering and supportive culture. Precisely that I have found at Capco.
Given my rather technical and data science focused background, I am looking forward to the new opportunities from the acquisition of andrion. I am delighted to be witnessing Capco’s continued growth along an increasingly digital journey. Lastly, I am convinced that our strategic orientation and awareness of future trends will allow Capco to make the most of the many promising market opportunities.
