Since its inception in 2013, the Armed Forces 2 Capco (AF2C) programme has been the gateway into the world of consulting for individuals drawn from all three services.

Service leavers possess a range of skills that are eminently transferable to financial services consulting. The recipient of the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) top tier gold award, the AF2C programme continues to go from strength. 

Capco formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant and become a member of ERS in 2015. The ERS recognizes employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community and are leaders within their market sector when it comes to advocating “support to Defence People issues to partner organisations, suppliers and customers with tangible positive results”.

We are looking for seasoned, high-calibre, creative service leavers to help drive business change in today’s fast-moving global financial services industry. At Capco, we hold ex-service personnel’s transferable skills in the highest regard and offer a supportive and engaging transition back into the civilian workplace.

1. Consultancy often involves identifying a problem and providing the optimal solution – servicemen and women are well-equipped to deal with complex and rapidly evolving scenarios.

OUR PROGRAMME

Following an initial week of training and networking with your team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the largest financial services organizations in the world on industry-transforming projects and initiatives.

One week of in-depth training – providing a  deep dive into the world of financial services and Capco itself, covering all the essentials to set you up for a successful career as a financial services consultant

A full-time job – this is not an internship, you’ll be offered a full-time position straight away

Military mentor – you’ll be assigned a mentor from within our business who has previously come through the AF2C scheme and who will provide help and advice

AF2C network – benefit from a ready-made support structure of ex-service personnel.
