Valuing independent thinking & entrepreneurialship

Capco celebrates individuality, integrity and transparency in our work environment and we provide our employees with the freedom to realize their aspirations.

The foundation of our culture is built on four key pillars:

  • Opportunity: personal growth opportunities in a fast-growing entrepreneurial firm dedicated to financial services
  • Performance and reward: a true meritocracy where performance is recognized and rewarded
  • Work: a challenging portfolio of work that will use and stretch our employees’ skills, tackling complex business issues
  • Experience and learning: learning from and sharing insight with thought leaders of unparalleled experience

We support and encourage an entrepreneurial outlook and independent thinking. Capco is not about organizational charts and layers — we operate with little hierarchy because we want all employees to feel that Capco is their firm to own and run. Everyone's ideas are heard. In fact, one employee’s entrepreneurial idea is now an internal community-based tool available to all Capco employees. Daryl developed the concept in his own time, presented a prototype to fellow colleagues, and eventually turned his innovative idea into a global social networking site that revolutionized the way people communicate across the organization. Little bureaucracy means plenty of cross-learning opportunities to work on projects and make a real contribution to developing the business. We know that the more successful our employees are, the more successful our clients are. Capco also recognizes the importance of our employees’ health and well-being. We subsidize gym memberships and sports initiatives, ranging from yoga to cycling to extreme sports.

The size of Capco offers our employees unlimited access to senior management. All employees are assigned a “coach,” an experienced consultant who offers guidance as employees progress in their careers at Capco.

We believe in open lines of communication. Local and regional offices host regular forums to disseminate information about what’s going on in the business and give our employees an opportunity to socialize. The forums also provide a venue for employees like Daryl to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas to the leadership team for further consideration.

We actively encourage learning, whether through formal classroom-based training, learning on the job or networking. We give our employees the tools they need to develop their passion and tackle whatever challenges come their way.

We recognize and reward people who deliver and are reliable, adaptive and innovative.
