Making a positive difference beyond the workplace

To Capco people, success means being a good citizen as well as a respected professional.

Our involvement in making a difference to the communities we live and work in is grounded in three of Capco’s core values: respect, integrity and commitment. Many of our employees play an active role in community support projects - all of which are independent of any industry-related groups or bodies.

Taking Personal Pride in Corporate Social Responsibility
We run a lean organization, committed to eliminating unnecessary consumption and minimizing waste. We recycle. We encourage energy-efficient operations and travel. Our North American headquarters is an energy-star labeled building.

In North America, we launched Capco Cares to promote volunteerism and charitable giving in our local and global communities. Through Capco Cares, our NA employees participate in a variety of quarterly events designed to give back to local, national and provincial organizations. These events strengthen our ties in the community, and our ties to each other.

Examples of Capco Cares events include support of a Children’s Advocacy Center, participation in a variety of community-based initiatives for an international charity, support of a Children’s Village and work with world renowned Habitat for Humanity.

In Europe, we are equally committed to the team spirit building and rewarding community involvement that come from volunteering for a variety of initiatives to support those in need. Earlier this year, we launched the Capco Kilimanjaro Challenge 2011, a VSO- Voluntary Services Overseas - sponsored activity encouraging the adventurous to climb the highest peak in Africa, to raise money for charity.

Additionally, we take part in regular charity runs, recycling initiatives, donation of used computers and clothing to good causes and carbon offsetting schemes. We also encourage cycling to work. And we have just engaged with support of the Save the Children Flood Disaster Relief appeal in Pakistan, with an opportunity for employee contributions through our established Give as You Earn program.
