Are you Capco?
The Capco Associate Talent Program (ATP) provides those new to consulting with the skills and experience required to become the industry leaders of tomorrow. The program is currently active in the U.K. for Associates starting in the London office as well as in North America, where Associates from the U.S. and Canada are welcome to attend New York-based training sessions. New Associates in India can join sessions in our office in Bangalore.

The journey
After joining the ATP, you will participate in Capco’s intensive training course, which provides new Associates with experience working in a simulated project environment. The course offers an introduction to the global financial services landscape, current risks and regulations, and the foundations of consulting and project delivery.

Once your training concludes, you will be assigned to your first placement and given the opportunity to become an integral member of a project team. You will help develop and deliver market-changing solutions and tackle complex business issues for a wide range of regional and global clients. As an Associate, you will be responsible for business analysis and project management across multiple clients and industry specialists as you move across projects. Most importantly, you will have real responsibility from the start – you will be empowered to make business decisions that greatly affect the bottom line. This is your opportunity to jump-start your career in financial consultancy.

Capco operates an open door policy, which serves to promote an environment of collaboration, high performance, and respect between senior management and employees. Our unrivaled internal network enables you to build relationships with other Associates as well as experienced Consultants and Partners. All Associates are assigned a “buddy,” a peer who is available to help you settle in within the first few weeks. All members of the firm are also assigned a “coach,” a more experienced consultant who will play an influential role in offering guidance throughout your career at Capco.

Personal growth and training
During your time as an Associate and beyond, you are encouraged to develop and expand your skills through collaborative training. A wide range of specialized courses has been created to teach industry-leading practices, based on the work of fellow colleagues. Every Associate follows a training road map, specifically designed to help achieve your individual developmental goals.

There are no specific time frames to the ATP program. Once you demonstrate that you can perform at a higher level, you will join the Consultant grade. At this point, you are aligned to a domain specialty, such as capital markets, banking or technology, based on your experience and preference.

New Associates need to exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for financial services, be proactive and energetic, and demonstrate strong initiative. In addition, exceptional analytical skills and innovative solution-oriented thinking are paramount.
