Capco role and focus
As Chief Operating Officer for Capco’s Euronext region (Benelux, France, Geneva), Serge Godin is responsible for both the Euronext P&L and balance sheet across this region. He leads the region’s internal support functions.

Industry expertise
Serge has over 15 years of experience in managing large-scale IT development projects, mainly for financial services firms. He also has extensive background and experience in general business management, having been responsible for P&L management, running operations, finance and control, IT and software development.

Professional background
Serge rejoined Capco in 2011 from Euroclear, where as contractor, he was responsible for leading the delivery of large scale IT implementation projects. Previously in his extensive career, Serge has held senior positions at OmegaSoft, EDS, Proximus and JP Morgan.

Earlier in his career with Capco (1999 – 2003), Serge worked in a consulting delivery role, with client work including the development of a component-based software solution for Central Securities Depositories. He also held global responsibility for resource management, and oversaw the implementation Novient software within the Capco operating environment.

Serge has experience in public speaking, having delivered speeches at industry renowned events, including the Novient Users Conference, and the Opics (Treasury package) Users Conference.

Serge holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Liège, Belgium.
