Joe Anastasio is a Founding Partner at Capco and the Co-Leader of the Capital Markets group.

Industry expertise
Joe has over three decades of experience in the capital markets industry and is responsible for key client relationships and consulting project delivery in North America. He specializes in Operations Transformation, particularly its impact on profitability and the client experience.

Joe is a member of SIFMA and has served on the organization’s Operations Committee. He is also a frequent spokesman to financial media. Joe has served on several industry boards, including those of the National Securities Clearing Corporation, Mortgage Backed Securities Clearing Corp. and Euroclear.

Joe is actively involved in the development of Capco's thought leadership and has authored several papers including, "Post Merger Integration - Making the Most of Day 2" and "Regulatory Reform and OTC Derivatives".

Professional background
Joe joined Capco from JP Morgan, where he was Managing Director of the firm’s North America Operations Groups. In 1995, he was appointed as Director to the Board of JP Morgan Securities, Inc. During a 22-year career at Salomon Brothers, he served as Managing Director of Domestic and Global Operations, with responsibility for the firm's international support organization.
