Capco role and focus
Joan Stack joined Capco in 2010, where she is responsible for Human Capital in the Americas.

Industry expertise
Joan brings 20 years of experience in Human Resource (HR) management in the professional services and financial services industries. She holds both GPHR and SPHR certifications from the Society for Human Resources Management, and has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Her Human Capital expertise includes strategy development, international and domestic US HR operations, and organizational and leadership development. In addition to her responsibilities in the Americas, Joan is a member of Capco’s Global Human Capital Steering group.

Professional background
Prior to joining Capco, Joan spent several years as the Global Managing Director of Human Resources for Stanford Financial Group based in the US Virgin Islands. Before that, she spent more than 20 years with Ernst & Young in New York in operations and HR roles that included developing the first shared services HR department in the firm. She spent 7 years working in International HR, integrating the newly-formed Americas region (28 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Israel), and a short stint in China.
