Capco role and focus
Harmen Meijnen is a Capco Partner based in the firm’s Amsterdam office. Alongside general management of the firm’s Netherlands business, Harmen plays a leading role supporting Capco’s offer in Finance, Risk and Compliance services.

Client engagement experience
Earlier in his career, Harmen spent three years as a Risk Management consultant with the Financial Risk Management Consulting Group, based in Nottingham and subsequently in Utrecht. His responsibilities in this role included managing a large global account, managing several key engagements, and developing key service offerings in risk management and strategic decision support.

Harmen is a well-respected industry expert and has recently authored several papers including:

Professional background
Over the past 15 years, Harmen has followed a career as a consultant in the banking, insurance and asset management business domains. His key areas of functional focus and domain expertise include corporate banking, retail banking and commercial real estate financing; credit, market and operational risk; economic capital management; and cost and value management. Prior to joining Capco, Harmen was a Practice Manager with a leading global consulting firm, based in the Netherlands, where he also served as Global Head of CoE Risk and Compliance.
