Antoine Tahon

Capco role and focus
Antoine Tahon leads the Murex practice in the Capco Paris office. Together with his colleagues, he focuses on the development and delivery of IT projects ranging from green field implementations of vendor packages (including solutions such as Murex) through to managed services capabilities for leading European financial institutions. Client engagements Antoine has been involved in cover a variety of subjects including the transformation of IT processes around financial software solutions, the deployment and integration of new application architectures, as well as the daily management of those applications through dedicated services on behalf of Capco clients.

Industry expertise
Antoine has extensive experience in implementing software solutions, managing teams of consultants both on and offshore. He has coordinated the development work in the areas of pre and post-trade for derivatives products focusing on solutions around pricing, valuation models, risk management and processing of these same transactions.

Antoine has accumulated his industry experience through more than 15 years of leadership in international and multi-cultural environments. He has particular expertise dealing with Front-Office and Risk along with the management of IT departments.

Professional background
Prior to joining Capco, Antoine worked for Murex, where major assignments included:

  • Leading FX Derivatives, FX /MM, Fixed Income and Rates Derivatives business areas
  • Participating in numerous implementation projects for Buy Side and Sell Side clients
  • Developing and managing a portfolio of major Murex clients in North America
  • Advising clients on the best approach for the implementation and upgrade vendor solution projects
  • Driving the functional and business choices for software development; establishing and prioritizing the development roadmap for the software capabilities in pricing analytics, risk management, deal workflow, P & L analysis and associated reporting
