John took a look back at the findings from "Canada at the Crossroads", a 1991 Study co-sponsored by the Government of Canada and the Business Council on National Issues, now the CCCE and how things have changed in the past 20 years. In 1991 many factors inhibited innovation, but today many of these “foundational” factors have been vastly improved. John says, "It is now time for firms in all sectors to move innovation to the forefront of their strategic agendas.
